SANTA CRUZ, CA -- Friday, February 13th 1998 provided hungry fish and restless fishermen with the opportunity to get stinky ... Art Bell on the box, Tall Boys in the bag, and frozen friends with eight legs.
Jack began the night with a perfect cast ... two large kings. Following Steve's capture of a bag-'o bully's, Jack mistakenly confused a seaweed battle with a nice Wharf Rock Crab (our first keeper!).
There was one story that must be told ... while leaning up against the slimy wharf boards, waiting for the next royal visit, Steve pointed to a nearby gull. We noticed that someone was shining a red laser on its chest. Needless to say, we watched our backs the rest of the night. Fish on and "good creature hunting."
